Aubertine and Currier was contracted by the Development Authority of the North Country to produce informative signage for the newly constructed trailway. The signage covered various topics such as commonly seen birds, animals, edible landscapes, and various remains of an old farmstead that once occupied the property.
Aubertine and Currier was also contracted to design/develop plans for a community center to be located at the entrance of the trail system. The design of the building was modeled after the old farm house that was located on the property. The Community Center consists of a new 810 sf community center and 450 sf pavilion with new septic system and associated electrical service. The interior of the community center features a 423 sf multipurpose/meeting space for community gatherings, utility room, water storage room, and ADA accessible men’s and woman’s restroom facilities.
