NYS LDSA Survey Projects

City of Ogdensburg Maple Trail Extension (2018)

Aubertine and Currier, PLLC completed the design survey, design mapping and ROW survey and mapping of the Maple City Trail in the City of Ogdensburg, Saint Lawrence County.  The city is going to extend the Maple City Trail 2,400 feet to include incorporating an old railroad bridge over the Oswegatchie River, and create a loop with state route 812.  The rail bridge will connect the existing trail to the highway through a series of easements through privately held property adjacent to the bridge.  The project area consisted of approximately 3,850 feet, 100 foot wide corridor.  The design survey and mapping was completed to NYSDOT land surveying standards and specifications.  

 

Massey Street, Coffeen Street, & Court Street Bridge Project (2018)

Aubertine and Currier, PLLC completed the design survey, design mapping and ROW survey and mapping of the Massey Street, Coffeen Street, & Court Street Bridge Project in the City of Watertown, Jefferson County. (PIN 7753.62)  The project was for the design and rehabilitation of the Court Street Bridge in order to extend the service life of the structure and the roadway resurfacing of Massey Street from Court Street Bridge to Holcomb Street and Coffeen Street from Massey Street to the City Line.  The project area consisted of approximately a 2.3 mile (11,830 foot) total, which included Massey, Coffeen and Court Street.  The design survey and mapping was completed to NYSDOT land surveying standards and specifications. 

 

Canal Street Bridge over the Black River Channel Replacement (2017)

Aubertine and Currier, PLLC completed the design survey, design mapping and ROW survey and mapping of the Canal Street Bridge over the Black River Channel (BIN 2266680) for the design and construction of a new bridge as part of project the Village of Dexter, Jefferson County.  The survey length extended 250 feet north of the bridge end to 250 feet beyond the bridge end to the south.  Roadway cross-sections were taken at 50 foot intervals, with a bandwidth of 100 feet (centered on roadway).  The topographic survey and mapping was completed to NYSDOT land surveying standards and specifications.  

 

Pearl Street (Route 283) Bridge over the Black River (2017)

Aubertine and Currier, PLLC completed the design survey, design mapping and ROW survey and mapping of the Pearl Street (Route 283) Bridge over the Black River (BIN 2220260) for the rehabilitation and full deck replacement of the existing bridge as part of project located in the City of Watertown, Jefferson County.  Existing aerial mapping from the NYSDOT GIS were used to re-create the existing bridge in order to complete the contract drawings.  The project area consisted of approximately a 1,000 foot total, which included intersections of Water Street to the North and Huntington Street to the South.  The design survey and mapping was completed to NYSDOT land surveying standards and specifications.  

 

Harney Bridge Road over the Saranac River (2017)

Aubertine and Currier, PLLC completed the design survey, design mapping and ROW survey and mapping of the Harney Bridge Road over Saranac River. (BIN 3335770) for the design and construction of a new bridge as part of project in Clinton County.  The project area consisted of surveying approximately a 1,520 foot corridor, 100 foot wide, centered on Harney Bridge Road.   The topographic survey and mapping was completed to NYSDOT land surveying standards and specifications. 

 

Mill Street (US 11) Bridge over the Black River (2017)

Aubertine and Currier, PLLC completed the design survey, design mapping and ROW survey and mapping of the Mill Street (US 11) Bridge over the Black River (BIN 2220240) for the rehabilitation of the existing bridge as part of project located in the City of Watertown, Jefferson County.  Existing aerial mapping from the NYSDOT GIS were used to re-create the existing bridge in order to complete the contract drawings.  The project area consisted of approximately a 1,500 foot total, which included intersections of Main Street to the North and Route 283 to the South.  The design survey and mapping was completed to NYSDOT land surveying standards and specifications.  

 

Tappin Road Bridge over the Great Chazy River (2017)

Aubertine and Currier, PLLC completed the design survey, design mapping and ROW survey and mapping of the Tappin Road Bridge (BIN 3336260) over the Great Chazy River for the design and construction of a new bridge as part of a locally funded project in Clinton County.  The project area consisted of surveying approximately a 1,120 foot corridor, 100 foot wide, centered on Tappin Road.  The project included the surveying and mapping of typical hydraulic cross sections of the Great Chazy River.  A&C also create ROW acquisition maps and descriptions for Fee takings around the new bridge.  The topographic survey and mapping was completed to NYSDOT land surveying standards and specifications.

 

Kent Falls Road Bridge over the Saranac River (2017)

Aubertine and Currier, PLLC completed the design survey, design mapping and ROW survey and mapping of the Kent Falls Road Bridge (BIN 3335790) over the Saranac River for the design and construction of a new bridge as part of a locally funded project in Clinton County.  The project area consisted of surveying approximately a 600 foot corridor, 100 foot wide, centered on Kent Falls Road.  The topographic survey and mapping was completed to NYSDOT land surveying standards and specifications.  

 

Rand Hill Road Bridge over Meade Brook (2015)

Aubertine and Currier, PLLC completed the design survey, design mapping and ROW survey and mapping of the Rand Hill Road Bridge (BIN 3336060) over Meade Brook for the design and construction of a new bridge as part of a locally funded project in Clinton County.  The project area consisted of surveying approximately a 1,000 foot corridor, 100 foot wide, centered on Rand Hill Road from the intersection of Catherine Hayes Road to Bracken Road.  The topographic survey and mapping was completed to NYSDOT land surveying standards and specifications.
