Michigan Avenue Housing

Client: DANC Fort Drum Regional Liaison Organization | Location: Watertown, NY | Completion Date: 2006 | Services Provided: Architectural & Civil Engineering

Aubertine and Currier worked closely with Mr. Carl McLaughlin for the Fort Drum Regional Liaison Organization (FDRLO) and Keven Jordan and Robert Juravich from the Development Authority (DANC) of the North Country to provide Architectural/Engineering Services for six new single family homes to be located on various fill sites within the City of Watertown. The housing was needed to meet the growing population demands associated with the expansion of Fort Drum.

The houses were designed to be efficient and economical, as well as able to fit the needs of either civilian families or Military Service Members and their families. The homes were sold for $150,000, also meeting the demands for enlisted Soldier housing.

Two models were designed with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, and 1 model was designed with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths.
