NEW YORK AIR BRAKE - RENOVATIONS AND ADDITIONS, WATERTOWN, NEW YORK
SHOP OPERATIONS RENOVATIONS
Aubertine and Currier provided New York Air Brake Corp. with professional services to renovate an unused area of the factory floor into a shop operations office. The new office would provide better visibility between shift managers and the factory floor operations. New and existing concrete walls would have windows cut into them and metal stud walls furred out to provide sound insulation and finished sheetrock throughout the office. The fast tracked project needed to be complete for an important board meeting coming up within a few months. Aubertine and Currier was able to provide a complete Bid set of drawings within 10 days and required contractors to provide a strict construction schedule showing completion in less than 4 months. The project was successfully completed before the board meeting.
RECEIVING DOCK ADDITION
Aubertine and Currier provided Architectural and Structural Engineering Services for the addition of Kardex® storage systems. The automated system required substantial foundation reinforcing for extreme point loads that the machines have.
